CACHE Level 2 or 3 Nursery Practitioner

We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated CACHE Level 2 or 3 nursery practitioner to join our team for work in local, vibrant and nurturing early years settings. Responsibilities of the Nursery Practitioner:
* Provide a safe, stimulating, and caring environment for children.
* Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities and experiences that promote learning and development across all areas.
* Observe and assess children's progress, ensuring individual needs and interests are met.
* Foster positive social and emotional development by promoting healthy relationships and self-confidence.
* Maintain effective communication with parents, providing regular feedback on children's progress and addressing any concerns.
* Uphold health and safety standards, ensuring a clean and secure environment at all times.
Requirements of the Nursery Practitioner:
* CACHE Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
* Proven experience working as a nursery practitioner in an early years setting.
* Sound knowledge of child development principles and early years curriculum.
* Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures and health and safety regulations.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
* A warm and nurturing approach, with a genuine passion for working with young children.
* Enthusiasm, creativity, and adaptability in planning and delivering engaging activities.
* Live in or be willing to travel into Portsmouth.
