We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Behaviour Mentor to become part of an amazing school, starting ASAP. As a Behaviour Mentor, your role will be dynamic and varied, bringing new experiences every day.

Picture this! You'll collaborate with the class teacher, assisting with general class duties and contributing to the preparation of engaging lesson materials. Your support will extend to students, aiding them in managing their workload and addressing challenging behaviours. This involves nurturing their mental well-being, guiding them through emotional processes, and creating a positive learning environment.

Here's a glimpse into your day as a Behaviour Support Assistant:

* Supporting students with their mental health, helping them process and understand their emotions.
* Providing support in small groups or one-to-one settings.
* De-escalating high emotions and assisting students in self-regulation.
* Collaborating with the class teacher to establish a safe and engaging learning environment, where students can thrive and achieve their goals.
* Assisting the class teacher in preparing lesson materials and maintaining classroom order.

The ideal Behaviour Mentor possesses:

* Experience supporting children (SEN experience is a bonus!)
* Clear communicative skills.
* A positive, compassionate personality.
* Have a proactive approach.
* Strong problem-solving skills.
* The ability to deescalate heightened emotions.
* An enhanced DBS or willingness to apply for one.
* Understanding of the importance of your role in supporting students.

* Position: Behaviour Mentor.
* Contract: Full Time Mon-Fri.
* Location: Bracknell.
* Pay: £76 - £80 per day.
* Start Date: ASAP.
