In particular the head teacher and SENCO are seeking Graduates to work as a Teaching Assistant, Those who are confident and adaptable to work on a 1:1 basis with pupils with SEN providing excellent support within class.As a successful Teaching Assistant you must be self-assured and able to work on your own initiative as well as asking for direction as and where needed.

The majority of these posts will be on a 1:1 basis so your role may vary between an SEN Teaching Assistant and a General support Teaching Assistant as support will be required full time.
The general Teaching Assistant part to the post will see you supporting in classes as and where required and working closely with the class teacher to support those pupils who are requiring a little more individual support within the classroom.
