SEN Teaching Assistant
A Special School in the London Borough of Greenwich are looking for SEN Teaching Assistants to start work within their Secondary School that caters for 11-19 year old's with complex needs.
Working as an SEN Teaching Assistant within this school you will be supporting young people with medical difficulties assisting them with their curriculum as well as completing sensory learning activities to improve stimulation. It is preferred that you already hold SEN Experience however training and support will be provided by experienced professionals.
To work as within this role you will need the following:
* Experience within SEN (Primary/Early Years/Secondary)
* Maths & English Language GCSE's A* - C
* Have basic understanding of how children develop and learn
* Work well within a Team
* Possess empathy and sensitivity when dealing with children, parents and staff
* Organised, pro-active and able to work on their own initiative
* Flexible and Adaptable
* Excellent Communication Skills
