Position: KS2 Teaching Assistant (General TA) Location: Greenwich, London Hours: Full-time, 5 days a week, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm Salary: Competitive, based on experience
As a KS2 Teaching Assistant in Greenwich, you'll play a crucial role in helping the students thrive academically and personally. Your responsibilities will include:
* Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
* Providing individual support to students, including those with additional learning needs.
* Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.
* Supporting the implementation of behavior management strategies.
* Assisting with the preparation and organization of classroom materials and resources.
* Contributing to the planning and delivery of creative and stimulating learning activities.
Requirements:
Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within a primary school or educational setting is essential. Passion: A genuine passion for working with children and helping them succeed. Availability: Ability to work 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. Team Player: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues. Resilience: Patience, adaptability, and resilience when working with children of diverse backgrounds and abilities. Qualifications: While not mandatory, relevant qualifications in education or childcare would be beneficial.
