Academics are recruiting on behalf of a special school in the Fareham area which caters for pupils aged between 3 and 11 who have a wide range of moderate or severe learning difficulties. Many pupils have additional or associated difficulties such as autism, speech and language difficulties and social and emotional needs and all have an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP). The school is rated 'Good' in their latest OFSTED report.

They are looking for an LSA to work Tuesday-Friday, 4 days a week. Working hours are 8.45am - 3.15pm, paying £12.48 - £14 per hour. You will be supporting in at Early Years/KS1 class. Due to the nature of the pupils needs, this may include personal care and feeding duties.

Having worked in an SEN school or care environment in the past would be an advantage.

You will be joining a forward thinking and happy community where all pupils and staff are respected for their unique contributions. Their vision and values statements reflect their ambition and commitment to fully prepare their pupils for a successful transition to the next stage of their learning. You will become part of a highly motivated and nurturing staff team who strive to offer the highest quality provision to ensure they meet the needs of their children and families.
