Graduate Teaching Assistant
A well-known Secondary School based in Harrow are looking for a graduate Teaching Assistant to start ASAP. We are looking for a passionate Teaching Assistant who will be a joyful and enthusiastic addition to the classroom.
£85- £100 per day
The School:
The Secondary school is run by a team of hardworking staff with a stimulating and enjoyable learning environment. They work to encourage students as they develop and grow, understand each individual student by working with the students to support them in the best way possible. They are looking for a KS3/ LS4 Teaching Assistant who will be dedicated to supporting students.
The Role:
* Working collaboratively with the Secondary School class teacher to provide excellent learning to all pupils with a range of abilities.
* Providing support and assistance to individual KS3/ KS4 students or small groups.
* Support the classroom teacher in class management
* Plan, prepare, and deliver learning activities with the classroom teacher
* Discuss with the pupils and teacher how best to support the pupil's development
Candidate Requirements:
* Hold a current DBS on the update service or be willing to have one processed.
* Graduate
* The applicant should be a patient, compassionate, calm, and approachable individual who is good at building rapport with pupils.
* Have experience working with children or young people.
* CELTA Qualification is a bonus
* Ability to relate well to children and adults and respond appropriately.
