Academics are currently in partnership with a Staffordshire academy that is seeking to appoint an experienced and qualified Teacher of Business Studies.
This is a part-time (Monday – Wednesday) and short-term role starting after the February half-term break. Work is guaranteed until the Easter break, however this role does have the strong possibility of becoming extended into the summer term dependent on the schools future requirements.
This academy is known for its continuous support to students in preparing them for life after their studies by enabling them to acquire valuable skills and knowledge.

Role Requirements
* Have UK Qualified Teaching Status (QTS). Applications are welcome from all Business Studies Teachers at any stage of their career, and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) & Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) are encouraged to apply.
* Hold a relevant Business Studies qualification (PGCE, B. Ed or BA Hons) alongside QTS.
* Be required to teach (and have experience of) Business Studies up to KS4. Teaching up to A-Level would be desirable, but this is not essential for this particular role.
* Have strong behaviour and classroom management, with excellent subject knowledge.
* To have the ability to teach and inspire positive learning attitudes.
* Be able to adapt quickly within a new school environment and to be a good team player with fellow staff.
* Hold a current Enhanced DBS that is registered with the Update Service, or to be prepared to apply for a new Enhanced DBS with ourselves (cost applied).
For this particular role you will be paid according to your teacher pay grade.
