Textiles Teacher – North East Worcestershire – Easter

Academics are seeking an energetic, creative and dedicated Design Technology Teacher with a specialism in Textiles. This is for an exciting part time role that is due to start after Easter half term, for a Secondary School in North East Worcestershire. It is initially for one term however, there is a strong possibility of it being extending.

You will be enriching the learning and development of all KS3-KS4 pupils of various abilities, 3 days a week. This is a fantastic opportunity to exhibit your enthusiasm and passion for Textiles, that highlights you have up to date subject knowledge. You will engage and motivate pupils by planning a variety of creative and practical activities. Through your effective and engaging delivery pupils will be taught to design, make and evaluate. The pupils will be taught the knowledge, understanding and skills needed to engage in an iterative process of designing and making. You will implement effective marking and assessment to ensure pupil progress and attainment. Lastly, you will need to demonstrate excellent classroom management, where you use positive behaviour management strategies which reflect the schools behaviour policy.
