Role: Part-Time/Supply SEN Teaching Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide one-on-one or small group support to SEN students, adjusting materials to meet individual needs.
* Assist the class teacher in creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
* Collaborate with the SENCO and other professionals to implement tailored learning plans.
* Foster a nurturing and safe environment that encourages student engagement and well-being.
* Support students during lessons, break times, and other school activities.
* Help prepare learning resources and materials.

What We’re Looking For:

* Experience working with children with SEN is highly preferred.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with students, staff, and parents.
* Patience, empathy, and a flexible approach to supporting children's diverse needs.
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) are a bonus but not essential.
* Ability to adapt to different classroom challenges.
* Local commute to Stevenage.
