Teaching Assistant – Cirencester

Primary – KS1/KS2

An established Cirencester Primary School wants to meet the next generation of Teachers! Is that you?

There is an opportunity to gain essential child-related on the job skills, with a Teaching Assistant vacancy to learn in depth the KS1/KS2 educational system. You will be working closely with the Teachers in the Cirencester School, so you can absorb all techniques from a range of year groups

If you demonstrate the go-to attitude, willingness and passion to teach the KS1/KS2 Gloucestershire students there will be an opportunity to take a further QTS qualification. QTS is a 1 year course, which you will need a prior BA/Bsc degree.

£30,000 starting salary once qualified as Teacher with QTS!

If you do not have an existing degree, there is still Teaching training for you. You will be supported and guided to take a 3 year Educational studies course at University, boosted by the experience which this role will give.

Requirements to join the Cirencester Primary School:

* Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
* Knowledge of behaviour management strategies and techniques.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help the KS1/KS2 pupils succeed.
* Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
* Relevant qualifications or training in education or behavioural support (preferred).
* Understanding and will undergo regular safeguarding training.

DBS is essential!

Degrees – BA Educational Studies, Bsc Psychology, Criminology and Sociology qualifications are highly desired!

SENCO/SEND/SEN – experienced candidates WANTED.
