Position: Teaching Assistant

About the Role:

Academics, the only education recruiter based in Doncaster, is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join our team for long-term contracts in primary schools across Doncaster. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting classroom teachers, enhancing the learning environment, and helping students achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assisting classroom teachers with lesson preparation and delivery.
* Providing one-on-one and small group support to students.
* Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN).
* Helping to maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Assisting with administrative tasks and classroom management.
* Supervising students during break times and on school trips.

Requirements:

* Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is desirable.
* A genuine passion for education and helping young learners.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patience, empathy, and the ability to engage with children of all abilities.
* A valid DBS check or willingness to undergo one.
