Urgent/ IMMEDIATE start!
We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to start at the beginning of June 2022. You will be supporting, teaching and learning alongside the class teacher. This role would suit somebody who has a passion for working with children, is ambitious and has good communication skills.
Academics Ltd Worcester is recruiting for a beautiful primary school for their Primary school. It easily accessible from Worcester, Cheltenham or Gloucester. This position is a full time position Monday – Friday, term time only, with the possibility on carrying on into the next term year.
We are looking for:
* Ability to communicate clearly with teachers and younger individuals.
* Ability to create an encouraging learning environment for pupils.
* Ability to remain calm during stressful situations.
* Excellent knowledge of lessons that pupils are required to learn in class.
* Provide a healthy and safe environment for children.
* Helping teachers manage student behaviour.
* An individual that is confident about helping alongside the class teacher.
* Helping on a 1:1 basis or small group.
Our Ideal teaching assistant must have:
* Level 2 or 3 qualification is ideal but not essential.
* Eligible to work in the UK.
* Enhanced DBS or willing to get one before the start date.
* KS1 or KS2 experience.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work as part of a team, patient, empathetic, caring, and friendly.
