Learning Support Assistants required - Portsmouth - Must drive!

If you are living in the Portsmouth/Hampshire area and you are looking to work with children and young people with social, emotional and mental health needs, please read!

Academics are seeking passionate and empathetic Outreach Support Workers who are happy to work alone in a classroom and outreach basis. Due to the nature of the role, they are specifically looking for drivers who have access to their own vehicles (travel expenses will be paid).

You will be required to work with a successful SEMH School in Portsmouth which caters for pupils from KS2-KS4 with social, emotional and mental health needs, and other associated needs such as autism.

You will be working with pupils in a school setting and also be required to visit pupils homes to encourage them into school or an environment suitable for learning. The schools have various sites across Portsmouth, all with their own specialism. You may be required to travel between the sites if needed.

They have an urgent need for Outreach Support Workers / Learning Support Assistants to join them ASAP on a full-time, temp to perm contract.
