HR Officer in Croydon

Are you an experienced HR professional or someone passionate about supporting HR functions in educational settings? We're actively seeking a qualified HR Officer to join our thriving team.

Start Date: ASAP/April 2024

Pay: £25,000 to £35,000

Main Areas of Responsibility: As our HR Officer, your key responsibilities will include:

* Ensuring compliance with Academy policies for support staff leave requests
* Monitoring teaching staff attendance and punctuality, addressing concerns promptly
* Overseeing the accuracy of staffing data and taking appropriate actions
* Managing the staff workforce census return Croydon
* Coordinating with the catering company for Academy events
* Supervising peripatetic or casual staff deployment, safeguarding procedures, and pay coordination
* Overseeing the Academy asset register, preferred suppliers, and service level agreements
* Ensuring licensing agreements and maintenance contracts are in order
* Managing the Academy's single central record
* Leading the recruitment process for new staff, from job descriptions to pre-employment checks

Qualifications & Experience: We invite applications from candidates with:

* Degree-level qualifications or equivalent
* Proficiency in Microsoft software packages
* Experience as a HR Officer
* Knowledge of Health and Safety and HR legislation
* Basic understanding of financial procedures and procurement processes
