Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic History Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will have a genuine passion for history and a commitment to delivering engaging and inspiring lessons. You will play a key role in developing our students' understanding of the past, helping them to explore historical events, themes, and concepts in an interactive and meaningful way.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver high-quality history lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
* Foster a love of learning and critical thinking through innovative teaching methods and resources.
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported.
* Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum enhancements and enrichment activities.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Specialism in History or related subject area.
* Experience teaching history at the secondary level (NQTs are welcome to apply).
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for your subject area.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
