Academics are looking for a passionate English Teacher to join a vibrant school in Basildon. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering English curriculum to secondary school students, fostering their understanding and appreciation of literature and language.
Job Summary:
* Teach English to students at various levels, focusing on developing both their written and oral language skills.
* Engage students with a variety of texts, encouraging analytical and critical thinking.
* Plan and execute lessons that effectively meet the learning objectives and needs of all students.
Responsibilities:
* Assess student progress and provide feedback to promote improvement.
* Prepare students for qualifications and assessments in line with the national curriculum standards.
* Collaborate with other English department members to develop teaching materials and participate in departmental initiatives.
Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in English.
* Experience in teaching English at secondary level.
* Excellent command of the English language and a passion for literature.
