Job Title: SEN Classroom Assistant

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Classroom Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with our Special Educational Needs (SEN) students, supporting their learning and development within the classroom setting.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide one-to-one assistance to SEN students, ensuring they receive tailored support according to their individual needs.
* Assist the class teacher in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapting teaching materials to accommodate diverse learning styles.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported.
* Encourage student engagement and participation in classroom activities, promoting independent learning skills.
* Collaborate effectively with the teaching team, SEN coordinators, and other professionals to ensure the holistic development of SEN students.
* Monitor student progress and behavior, providing feedback to the teacher and assisting in the implementation of behavior management strategies.

Requirements:

* Previous experience working with SEN students is highly desirable.
* A genuine passion for supporting the learning and development of children with special educational needs.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
* Patience, empathy, and resilience in working with students who may face various challenges.
* Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively within a team environment.
* Relevant qualifications or training in special educational needs (desirable but not essential).
