Teaching Assistant

Teaching Assistant – Seaford – ASAP

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers and students in the classroom, ensuring a positive and effective learning environment. If you are passionate about education and enjoy working with children, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant:

* Assist the classroom teacher in planning and implementing educational activities.
* Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who may need additional help.
* Assist with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning atmosphere.
* Help prepare teaching materials and resources.
* Support students with special needs or those who require individualized attention.
* Supervise and ensure the safety of students during class and other school activities.
* Collaborate with teachers and other staff to assess student progress.
* Participate in meetings and training sessions as required.
* Perform other duties as assigned by the school administration.

Requirements to be a Teaching Assistant:

* Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
* Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.
* A genuine passion for education and helping students succeed.
* Provide details for us to complete reference checks prior to employment
* You will require to pass a DBS check with no reprimands (we can assist you with this)
* You will have GCSE grades of A*-C in Maths and English ( or equivalent )
