If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join an excellent primary school in Ystrad Mynach.

Role Overview:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our students' educational journey. Working closely with teachers and staff, you will assist in creating a positive and engaging learning environment that fosters curiosity and a love for learning. Your dedication and passion for helping children thrive will contribute to the overall success of our school community.

The duties of the Teaching Assistant include:

* Assisting teachers in designing and conducting lessons to ensure a comprehensive educational experience.
* Providing personalised support to students through one-on-one and small group interactions, addressing their unique learning requirements.
* Contributing to effective classroom management to maintain a focused and organised learning environment.
* Preparing educational materials and resources that enhance the quality of lessons and activities.
* Engaging with students in extracurricular activities, actively fostering their social development.
* Collaborating closely with teachers and staff to monitor students' progress and offer valuable feedback.
* Cultivating a positive and inclusive atmosphere, where all students feel valued and receive support.

Requirements:

* Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or similar role in a school setting is desirable.
* A passion for working with children and supporting their academic and personal growth.
* Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to the diverse needs of students.
* A commitment to creating a safe and nurturing learning environment.
* Enhanced DBS check
* Right to work in the UK
* Relevant qualifications or certifications in education or childcare will be advantageous.
