Meet the Teaching Agency in Hull

The Yorkshire and Humberside teaching agency office in Hull of Academics operates throughout Licolnshire, Hull, East Riding & North Yorkshire. Our team work closely with both Qualified Teachers and also school support staff in Hull and the surrounding areas in order to find them suitable day to day supply, long term and permanent teaching jobs, and school support jobs, based on their own requirements. We work closely with schools, Nurseries, Colleges and referral units across the region in order to ensure that they get the best available teaching and support staff. The team take great pride and satisfaction in the relationships they have developed with both Teachers and Schools since the Hull teaching agency branch opened back in 2012. Since then, they have worked extremely hard to establish the Hull office as the schools preferred partner to help with their teaching jobs and support jobs. Their reputation continues to go from strength to strength because of the dedication they put into the work they do.

Linda Wright Linda Wright

Linda joined Academics as Branch Manager in 2018. With extensive experience in the recruitment industry Linda has worked in Education Recruitment since 2007, mainly in Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. She is well known amongst the schools in the area as, at one time or another, she has dealt with most of them meeting their short or long term recruitment needs. Linda is a fully qualified recruiter and holds a Diploma in Recruitment Practice from the REC. She also has a Certificate in Business Management from the Open University.

Linda believes customer service, candidate quality and attention to detail are key to success in the Education Recruitment sector. She is focussed on getting her team to perform to the highest levels and meet these key benchmarks. She still operates her own desk, providing supply teachers, long term cover and permanent posts to her schools in Hull and East Yorkshire.

When not at work she is busy with her grown up daughter and husband at their home in Beverley. Linda is an avid runner and has completed marathons in the UK and overseas. She is also a qualified coach, introducing people to running for the first time. Her ambition is to run the Marathon des Sables, a multi day event across the Sahara desert!

Kelly Barton Kelly Barton

Kelly joined Academics in January 2022 as a Secondary Consultant for the Hull office. Her role within the company is recruitment for the North and North East Lincolnshire areas. Kelly works closely with secondary teachers and support staff, and is keen to hear from you if you are looking for daily supply teaching or even a long term teaching opportunity. Previously Kelly worked for 16 years as an Further Education Tutor and is passionate about education. In her spare time Kelly enjoys fitness and spending time with her family and long walks with her dog Woody.
