Psychology and Criminology Graduate – Aspiring Youth Justice Officer Milton Keynes – Education and Training – Aspiring Youth Justice Officer Milton Keynes – May 1st, contract for 12 months– LSA role for an aspiring Criminal Justice or Youth Justice Officer

The need to be pragmatic and patient, understanding the contexts that effect mental health and that are at play when students have complex social needs. Each student will have a different context and will have been through different, challenging traumas. There is a focus on Primary KS2 and intermediate learning in this role, you will be part of an extensive KS2 team and some KS3 students.

This is a fascinating LSA role set in the heart of Milton Keynes, focussed on positive reinforcement, ensuring a path for students who have been excluded from their mainstream education, back into the mainstream.

This is a LSA role that requires patience, empathy and a lot of your time, there are zero quick cures and miracle solutions in a role like this. Some of the outstanding foundations you set, you may not get to see the pleasing outcomes immediately. Patience and empathy is the true skill here.

Ideal role for an Aspiring Clinical, Education or Forensic, Psychologist. Roles will also appeal to Health and Social graduates interested in Counselling, Social, Youth and Criminal Justice. Looking at the Socio- Economic, class, race and faith factors that affect mental health and the approaches to mental health, is a crucial area.

This LSA role for a Psychology or Criminology graduate for example, is based in a specialist SEN school for boys and girls aged 9-16 that have switched from their mainstream education, all will have complex social needs. There are no quick fixes here, if you have a utopian idea of being able to ‘save’ every student, you will not succeed.

You may help plant ideas that you will not see the full, positive effects or end results from, know that they are there and will happen. The school is a great development base for Psychology graduates who are sincere and know your objectives.
