Working as a Graduate teaching assistant is a fantastic way to develop your experience supporting young people with Special Educational Needs.
A East London secondary school are looking for aspiring Educational Psychologists to work closely with pupils with a various Special Educational Needs in small groups and on a 1:1 basis. The successful Graduates will be working with pupils who have various needs from year 7 – year 11.
This Psychology Graduate teaching assistant role is ideal preparation for aspiring Educational Psychologists who are eager to develop their existing Special Educational needs experience in a school setting.
To be considered for this SEN Psychology Graduate teaching assistant role you should be a Psychology Graduate who has some form of experience supporting young people with SEN and long term aspirations to become an Educational Psychologist. You may have gained your experience a through a number of avenues – paid or voluntary.
As a Psychology Graduate teaching assistant you will be working alongside an experience SENCo who has a number of years of experience working with Special Educational Needs. Every day working as a SEN teaching assistant will be different and will provide you with invaluable experience.
