DT Resistant Materials Teacher – North East Worcestershire- September
Academics are seeking a charismatic Design Technology Teacher who specialises in Resistant Materials, Electronics and Woodwork. We are supporting a ‘Good’ Ofsted rated Secondary School in North East Worcestershire, in their search for an inventive and driven Teacher, to teach KS3-KS4 pupils full time from September. They ensure a diverse range of opportunities, to speak to every child’s passions. You are expected to teach pupils of different ages and abilities engaging and inspiring lessons, to encourage them to have a passion for this subject and to ensure they reach their full potential in their learning. You will plan and deliver lessons teaching pupils how to design and produce products with a creative and innovative flair using a range of materials and techniques. Pupils will develop their design and practical skills, focusing on particularly on problem solving and evaluation skills. You are required to support, challenge and engage a diverse cohort of students, enriching their learning experience, maximising their potential and raising attainment. Lastly, you must possess strong behavioural management strategies to ensure all pupils make the best progress possible.
