Aspiring Youth Justice Officer Surrey – Education and Training – Immediate start – February 24th 2020 - Aspiring Youth Justice Officer Woking. Registrations over half term.
This is a LSA role where you will be working with some very vulnerable young students and adults, displaying may different types of behaviour. Some will be incredibly charismatic, yet, confrontational. Contrast that to some of the Adults who have autism, who could well be very withdrawn and not willing to give you an insight into their life.
Active listening is incredibly important here, especially when working with vulnerable students aged 9-16, especially boys
If you are an aspiring teacher, this is an excellent opportunity to pick experience in in a behaviour setting that you will not have been exposed to. Because the students are KS3 and KS4, it’s going to give you valuable experience as an aspiring SecoNDARY tEACHER.
-Rehabilitation of Offenders, Restorative Justice - this LSA role for Criminology Graduate Woking will give you the experience of working with students who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health issues.
