Graduate LSA roles – South East London
Are you an aspiring teacher? Do you want to change a child’s life for the better?
As an individual that has worked as both an LSA and a Teacher for the past 5 years. I was able to see things a typical teacher wouldn’t have. Through my LSA role I developed a real understanding towards each and every one of my students needs and was able to organically apply this to my every day teaching life once I graduated. When you are in the back of the classroom with your 1:1 you will pick up on a lot, not only understanding and exploring different SEN but you’ll naturally pick up on how the teacher is controlling the class and later you can apply that into your teaching. And of course you will in your teaching career have students in your class with SEN and regardless of their 1:1 support it is still your responsibility and duty to produce appropriate work for this student, for you to take time and get to know them and basically treat them exactly the same as you’d treat the other students. If you have that experience under your belt you will be an amazing teacher! And will help the underdogs and the children that don’t receive the help and push they need in order for them to really blossom and succeed.
If you know you can be that person. If your intensions are sincere I then this graduate LSA job is for you!
