PPA/Intervention

Are you an experienced teacher looking for a role that covers teaching across the whole key stage 2 but does not include the planning of lessons (unless you want to)? Would you like to find one of these roles on a fixed-term basis that will allow you to become an important member of the school?

If you answered yes, then this fantastic School located in Barnet wants to hear from you today!!!

* September 2019 start
* London MPS/UPS
* Good 2016 OFSTED Report
* Borough of Harrow
* 2 form entry primary school

Starting this April this large 2 form entry Primary school located in Harrow is looking to appoint an experienced teacher to cover PPA release over Key Stage 1. This role is not suited to NQT's as it requires teaching a variety of different year groups without support. The school has been through several changes over the past 3 years and is now recognised as a good school from its last OFSTED report. Behaviour is good throughout and the children here are keen to achieve. Leadership at this school view the role of PPA teacher as a vital role in helping ensure the smooth running of the school.

This post is only suited to experienced teachers with solid behaviour management and the ability to teach across all year groups in Key Stage 2. As a serious role, they commit ongoing support and development to the post to ensure that their PPA teachers are as effective teachers as possible. Although there is no planning involved in this post, unless you would like to be involved that is, all the other duties involved in teaching, including marking are required.
