Academics are currently seeking to recruit a Specialist Teaching Assistant to work in a Cardiff Primary School. We are looking for someone who would like to carry out specialist support in a Nursery class and someone who has 1:1 experience and/or experience within a classroom setting within the last 2 years. The successful candidate will need to show patience, professionalism, a positive attitude and have a calm approach.

If you are looking for a career in education or a stepping stone to becoming a teacher, then teaching assistant work is a great way to gain valuable experience and get an incite into the education sector.

This Teaching Assistant position will require someone who is committed to the role as the pupil requires consistency due to physical disability.

The school has an incredibly supportive team who all work hard to make the environment in school one in which staff and pupils enjoy. This position is set to start in September and we will be looking to send over CV’s to the school as well as arrange trial days.

To become part of the Academic teaching team you will:

1 Have experience of working in a classroom setting within the last 2 years or childcare qualifications

6 Able to expand the learning ability for pupils of all levels

As part of the Academics Supply Team you will benefit from:

1 The support of a dedicated Primary consultant
2 Plenty of opportunities for long term contracts as well as an option of shorter and periodic work
