Aspiring Family Support Worker role

A good SEN school in Guildford are keen to recruit a passionate and talented Family Support Worker to join them as soon as possible and support their children with PMLD and Severe Autism. Ideally they would like someone with relevant experience and qualifications.

This role requires a caring, diligent Family Support Worker who can work to improve children’s emotional health and wellbeing and empower parents and carers to feel confident in their parenting.

The Guildford site has some of the best Education and Training you will see within the industry.

The successful candidate will work with children and families affected by mental health problems, substance misuse or domestic abuse. With families who have a poor relationship with the school which is affecting a child’s ability to learn. They will also work with children with low self esteem, children being bullied, and children with special educational needs.

Family support workers will engage with children to build confidence and self esteem, establish routines and tackle behavioural issues.

This is a really rewarding LSA role, ideal for an aspiring Family Support Worker and to have it on your CV. The role is open to non graduates, graduates – it’s a LSA role that will dictate how well you do, due to your attitude.
