Are you a Drama teacher or NQT looking for a full time position at a good school in West Cheshire?

Academics Ltd is an education agency who has been working with secondary schools for the last 10 years.

My client, a good school in Tarporley, Cheshire looking to recruit a teacher of Drama and Theatre Studies available on an immediate start full time basis due to a staff absence

The Role:

Drama to KS3 and KS4 with some Theatre Studies lessons in the KS5

Ability to teach GCSE Drama and Theatre Studies to A level

Experience of teaching across all key stages preferred

A good understanding of the new GCSE grading criteria is required

The School:

11 to 18 academy in a picturesque rural location in Cheshire

A thriving popular school dedicated to improving the lives of its pupils

Abundant support for learners with additional needs

Located in the centre of Cheshire within 30 minutes drive of Crewe, Northwich, Chester, Frodsham and Whitchurch

The perfect Candidate:

Have the ability to teach across the full age range at KS3 and KS4

Have a proven track record of consistently adding value to their students in all the schools they have taught.

Possess a recognised Teaching Qualification (PGCE, QTS, BEd. or equivalent)

Be a confident and enthusiastic teacher with the initiative to facilitate the progression of the department.

You will be passionate about your subject with excellent curriculum knowledge, able to motivate and inspire your pupils.

All candidates must also hold the Right to Work within the UK in a full time post.

As the school is not easily accessible on public transport , own transport is essential.
