We are looking for a Teaching Assistant in St Helens with experience in an SEN setting or with children aged 4-11 with additional needs.

The candidate will have experience from the last 2 years of any of the following:

* Supporting children with moderate learning difficulties
* Supporting children with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties
* Supporting children with Autism or Asperger’s
* Supporting children with physical disabilities

As an Academics Teaching Assistant you will need

* Minimum 6 weeks experience working in an SEN setting or with children aged 4-11 with additional needs
* Details of someone who can provide a written reference on request to account for your experience of working with children
* A positive can do attitude
* Currently living in or near St Helens and able to get to primary schools in St Helens

* Worked as a Teaching assistant in Primary, Secondary or SEN schools
* Youth work/ Youth clubs
* Working in Sunday schools, mosques or synagogue schools
* After school club
* Scouts/Guides/Brownies /Cubs/Rainbows
* Outdoor activities instructor / Duke of Edinburgh/ orienteering with young people
