The Primary School that I currently work with is seeking SEN Teaching Assistants and is specifically looking for Graduates who have some experience previously supporting SEN children.
It is vital that a Graduate has an understanding of SEN as they will be given the opportunity to work 1:1 with specific children who require dedicated support with the aim to raise their attainment and behaviour as much as possible. With elements of Autism, EBD and PMLD it is vital a Graduate is confident in such supporting positions.
The positions are for the remainder of the academic year, with the view for settled in and motivated Graduates to continue into the new year in September also.
This SEN Teaching Assistant position is excellent practice for a career as a Mentor, Therapist, Clinical or Educational Psychologist.
The School is part of an impressive group of local Schools within Southwark and aims to progress children in a positive path, not only academically but socially and emotionally. Within easy walking distance from train stations this School very much aims to look after staff and train them as much as possible.
To apply for this role please send your CV to Becki Dedman at Academics for immediate shortlisting. Current and expected Graduates should apply. Please only apply if you have an undergraduate degree and have experience working with SEN individuals previously.
