Year 1 Teacher – Reading
ASAP Start | £150–£220 per day | Full-Time | Temporary
Are you an enthusiastic primary teacher available for an immediate start? A welcoming and supportive primary school in Reading is looking for a passionate Year 1 Teacher to join their team on a temporary basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Year 1 Teacher who enjoys working with younger pupils and wants to make a positive impact while gaining further experience in a supportive school environment.
The Role
As a Year 1 Teacher, you will:
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.
* Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
* Assess pupil progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs.
* Support pupils with their academic, social and emotional development.
* Encourage confidence, independence and a love of learning.
* Work closely with colleagues and parents to support pupil outcomes.
About You
The ideal Year 1 Teacher will have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Experience teaching within Key Stage 1.
* Strong classroom management and communication skills.
* A creative, enthusiastic and adaptable approach.
* High expectations for learning and behaviour.
* A genuine passion for helping young children succeed.
