Academics is recruiting Supply Teaching Assistants to work across a range of mainstream and specialist SEN schools in Dunstable. Whether you're an experienced Teaching Assistant, have a background in care or early years, or are looking to gain valuable classroom experience, we'd love to hear from you.
Position: Supply Teaching Assistant
Location: Dunstable
Contract: Flexible Daily Supply & Long-Term Opportunities
Hours: Monday-Friday, Term Time Only (Flexible)
Pay: £95-£105 per day
Your Role:
* Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
* Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons
* Support children with a range of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH and Moderate Learning Difficulties
* Promote positive behaviour and pupil wellbeing
* Adapt to different school environments while providing consistent support
We're Looking For:
* Experience as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Care Worker, Nursery Practitioner or Support Worker is desirable
* A positive, reliable and flexible attitude
* Excellent communication skills
* A genuine passion for supporting children and young people
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
