Academics are seeking an experienced and passionate Head of Art Teacher to join an outstanding secondary school in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. This is a full-time position starting in September 2026, offering an exciting leadership opportunity within a well-resourced and highly successful Art department.

Responsibilities:
• Leading and managing the Art department
• Teaching Art at KS3 & KS4, with potential opportunities at KS5
• Developing and implementing a dynamic and engaging Art curriculum
• Mentoring and supporting Art teachers within the department
• Driving departmental initiatives and fostering a culture of artistic excellence
Candidate Requirements:
• Proven experience as an Art Teacher, with the ability to lead and manage a department
• Strong knowledge of the Art curriculum at KS3, KS4, and ideally KS5
• Formal teaching qualification with QTS (e.g., PGCE)
• Legal right to work in the UK
• Passion for art and a commitment to inspiring students
