Are you a caring, patient and dedicated Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children with SEND?

We are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and inclusive primary school seeking a full-time SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team from September. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to two wonderful pupils while becoming part of a supportive school community. There is also the potential for the role to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Role:

* Full-time, Monday to Friday
* September start
* Morning: Supporting a Reception-aged child within the EYFS setting
* Lunchtime: One hour of lunchtime supervision/support
* Afternoon: Supporting a Year 5 pupil with an EHCP

Both children present with autistic traits and benefit from a calm, nurturing and consistent approach. The Year 5 pupil requires primarily academic support and has no behavioural challenges.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

* Experience working with children with SEND, particularly autism (preferred)
* A patient, empathetic and nurturing nature
* The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* A proactive and flexible approach to supporting learning

In Return:

* A welcoming and supportive school environment
* The opportunity to make a genuine impact on children's learning and development
* Potential for a permanent position following a successful temporary placement
* Competitive rates of pay

If you are passionate about supporting children with additional needs and are available from September, we'd love to hear from you.
