Academics are supporting a variety of welcoming nurseries and primary schools throughout Worksop who are looking for enthusiastic Early Years teachers to work on a temporary, flexible ongoing supply basis.
Position: Early Years Classroom Teacher
Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire
Contract: Temporary, ongoing flexible supply
Pay: £130 – £190 per day (paid via PAYE – no umbrella company fees)
Start Date: ASAP or a start date that works for you
About the Role
As an Early Years Classroom Teacher in Doncaster, you will support children within Nursery and Reception settings, delivering engaging activities and lessons that encourage early development through play-based learning.
You will help pupils build confidence, communication skills, independence, and positive relationships within a safe and nurturing classroom environment.
This role is ideal for teachers who enjoy flexibility while gaining experience across a range of early years settings in Doncaster.
To work within Nursery or Preschool environments, Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS) is typically required.
To teach Reception classes within primary schools, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging learning activities in line with the EYFS framework
• Support children’s emotional, social, and academic development
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
• Monitor pupil progress through EYFS assessment methods
• Encourage independence, creativity, and positive behaviour
• Work collaboratively with support staff, leadership teams, and parents
• Follow safeguarding and welfare procedures at all times
Candidate Requirements
* EYTS or QTS qualification
• Experience within Nursery or Reception settings
• Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum
• Nurturing, adaptable, and enthusiastic approach
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
