Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and support students in the absence of their regular class teacher, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment.
* Deliver pre-planned lessons and help students stay on track with their work.
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring students remain focused and engaged.
* Provide support to students with their learning, offering guidance and encouragement where needed.
* Ensure that students follow the school's policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
* Report on student progress and behaviour to relevant staff, assisting in their development and tracking.
Requirements:
* Experience working with young people (in a classroom, sports setting, or similar).
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage student behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
* Proactive and adaptable, able to handle a variety of school settings and age groups..
* No formal teaching qualifications required, but experience in a supervisory or support role is a bonus.
