This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Humanities Teacher to join a supportive and high-achieving department committed to excellence in education.

The successful Humanities Teacher will be a fully qualified professional (QTS essential) with a passion for bringing the past to life. As a teacher, you will inspire curiosity, encourage critical thinking, and deliver engaging lessons that motivate students of all abilities.

The school is seeking someone who:

* Demonstrates a genuine passion for Humanities alongside strong classroom management skills
* Can plan, prepare, and deliver dynamic and interactive lessons across KS3–KS4
* Is committed to the science of learning and ongoing professional development
* Has excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, contributing positively to a collaborative team
* Brings energy, enthusiasm, and a clear commitment to improving student outcomes

Job requirements:

* Degree in History or a related Humanities subject
* Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
* Strong knowledge of the KS3–KS4 curriculum and effective teaching strategies
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive department
