KS2 Teacher – Junior School (Full Time) - Watford

Start Date: September 2026

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated KS2 Teacher to join a highly regarded independent junior school from September 2026.

This thriving school has been rated ‘Excellent’ by the ISI and is known for its nurturing environment, strong academic outcomes, and commitment to the holistic development of every pupil. The KS2 Teacher play a key role in both the pastoral care and academic progress of their class, with pupils benefiting from an environment where they consistently make excellent progress.

Set within approximately 70 acres of beautiful grounds, the school actively encourages staff to make full use of the environment to enrich learning experiences. Teachers are trusted with a high degree of professional autonomy, enabling them to design engaging and inspiring lessons that support high-quality teaching and allow pupils to flourish.

Class sizes are intentionally small (typically around 18 pupils) to ensure personalised support and strong learning outcomes.

The successful KS2 Teacher will:

* Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons for a Key Stage 2 class
* Support the academic and pastoral development of pupils
* Plan and deliver an inspiring curriculum that promotes curiosity and progress
* Contribute positively to the wider life of a vibrant school community

The school is seeking a KS2 Teacher who:

* Has high expectations and strong classroom practice
* Is child-centred and enthusiastic about primary education
* Demonstrates the confidence and creativity to deliver engaging learning experiences
* Is able to commute to Watford
