About the Role
As a Newly Qualified Teacher – KS1 in Doncaster, you will teach pupils across Year 1 and Year 2, delivering creative and structured lessons that support early literacy, numeracy and social development. This Newly Qualified Teacher – KS1 role in Doncaster is ideal if you are looking to build experience across different KS1 classrooms before committing to a permanent post.
Working as a Newly Qualified Teacher – KS1 on supply in Doncaster will allow you to strengthen behaviour management strategies, develop assessment confidence and adapt to a variety of supportive school environments.
You will be supported by experienced school staff and your dedicated Academics consultant throughout your placements in Doncaster.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging KS1 lessons aligned with the national curriculum
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Support pupils’ early reading, writing and maths development
• Differentiate learning to meet varying abilities
• Monitor and assess pupil progress
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and senior leaders
• Follow safeguarding and behaviour policies at all times
Candidate Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Newly Qualified Teacher / Early Career Teacher status
• Passion for Key Stage 1 education
• Confident classroom management and communication skills
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
