SEN Teacher – September Start | Ealing

Are you an experienced and compassionate SEN Teacher seeking a fulfilling new role this September? We are looking for a dedicated teacher to join a specialist school in Ealing, where you will play a crucial role in supporting pupils with complex learning needs to reach their full potential.

The Role:
As an SEN Teacher in this specialist setting, you will deliver engaging, tailored lessons designed to meet the individual needs of learners working below age-related expectations. You will lead a class supported by skilled teaching assistants and collaborate closely with therapists and the wider SEN team.

This role requires creativity, patience, and a strong understanding of differentiated teaching approaches for pupils with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan and deliver personalised, sensory-rich lessons tailored to pupils’ needs
* Develop IEPs and contribute to EHCPs
* Assess and monitor pupil progress using appropriate assessment tools
* Support communication development using strategies such as PECS, Makaton, or AAC where appropriate

Requirements:

* QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
* Experience working in a specialist or SEN setting
* Understanding of complex learning needs and differentiated teaching strategies
* Knowledge of communication approaches such as Makaton, PECS, or visual communication systems
