Academics is recruiting on behalf of a secondary school in the Leek area (Stoke-on-Trent) for a full-time Maths & Science Teacher to join their team from Easter through to June. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who enjoys variety, wants to make an impact, and is looking for a fixed-term role with clear dates and expectations.
The Role:
* Deliver Maths and Science across Key Stages 3 and 4
* Fixed-term teaching position from Easter until June
* Plan and deliver engaging, structured lessons to mixed-ability classes
* Support pupils’ progress and maintain a positive learning environment
* Work as part of a supportive and collaborative department
Who We’re Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) in Maths/Science - essential
* Recent experience teaching Science and/or Maths across KS3 and KS4
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
* A passion for Maths & Science and student achievement/progress
* Reliable, professional, and enthusiastic teaching approach
* ECTs and experienced teachers welcome to apply
