Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher with experience supporting children with complex needs?
Academics are working in partnership with a fantastic Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in the Sutton Coldfield who are seeking a Primary SEN Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis until July 2026.

This is a wonderful opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who wants to make a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs, while being part of a warm, supportive school community.

As a Primary SEN Teacher, you will:

* Teach and nurture a small class of primary-aged pupils with complex learning needs.
* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that promote communication, independence, and emotional wellbeing.
* Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and other professionals to provide a holistic approach to learning.
* Use a range of communication and sensory strategies (e.g. PECS, Makaton, AAC) to support engagement and progress.
* Create a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment.

Academics are looking for someone who:

* Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
* Has experience teaching children with SEN, ideally within a special school or mainstream inclusion setting.
* Demonstrates creativity, patience, and resilience in supporting diverse learning needs.
* Works collaboratively with colleagues and families to achieve the best outcomes for pupils.
* Is passionate about inclusive education and making a genuine impact.

In Return, the School Offers:

* A welcoming and dedicated staff team.
* Excellent support from senior leaders and specialist staff.
* Access to professional development and SEN-specific training.
* A rewarding and fulfilling teaching experience.

If you are an inspiring teacher who is committed to supporting children with complex needs, we’d love to hear from you!
