This Academy passes Ofsted reports with a ‘good’ ranking, which is down to the staff, the environment they create as well as the student’s positivity throughout. They have 4 computer suites, a drama and music studio as well as a Sports Centre with a Swimming Pool.
We are seeking a motivated and buoyant Learning Support Assistant to join a respected secondary school Academy in Hornchurch.
The Role:
* A rewarding full-time Learning Support Assistant role within a secondary school in Upminster.
* Working closely with secondary school students with learning difficulties, making a genuine difference to their daily learning and wellbeing.
* Providing tailored 1:1 and small-group support both in and beyond the classroom.
* Playing a key role in supporting emotional regulation, positive behaviour, and meaningful engagement in education.
What we expect from you:
* Truly passionate about supporting young people with complex and additional needs.
* Calm, patient, and resilient, with the ability to build trusting, positive relationships.
* Experience supporting children or young people with learning difficulties or behavioural needs is welcome, but not essential — the right attitude matters most.
* Committed to a full-time role in Upminster and motivated to grow within a supportive educational environment.
