A friendly and inclusive primary school in Didcot are seeking an ASD Support Assistant to join their team from the beginning of the next academic year. They are looking for a passionate individual who enjoys helping children succeed in their education, and wants to support pupils with a mental health diagnosis.
Within this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the learning of pupils who need specialist intervention to assist with their academic attainment. You will tailor the National Curriculum to suit individual needs and conduct 1:1 sessions to partake in learning activities.
The school are looking for someone who comes from a background in working with children. Working within a specialist educational setting is also highly desirable but not mandatory.
