Academics are working with a specialist school in the Haywards Heath area who are seeking a Special Needs Learning Support Assistant to join their dedicated team as soon as possible.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a special needs learning support assistant who is passionate about supporting children and young people with a range of additional needs, helping them to thrive both academically and personally.
The Role:

Supporting students with special educational needs in and out of the classroom
*
Working closely with teachers and other support staff to create an inclusive learning environment
*
Encouraging independence, building confidence, and promoting positive behaviour
*
Providing 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual needs
We are looking for:
*
Previous experience as a special needs learning support assistant, supporting children or young people (desirable but not essential)
*
A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
*
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*
Commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of young learners
* Able to commute to Haywards Heath
