A welcoming and community-focused mainstream primary school in Oxford, Oxfordshire is seeking a passionate and dedicated Reception Teacher to join their Early Years team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic practitioner who is committed to giving children a strong and positive start to their school journey.
The school is well regarded for its inclusive ethos and nurturing learning environment. They are looking for a reflective, creative, and caring teacher who can deliver high-quality early years provision and support every child’s development academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:
* Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
* Creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
* Supporting children’s early literacy, numeracy, and personal development
* Observing, assessing, and recording children’s progress
* Maintaining positive behaviour and strong classroom routines
* Working collaboratively with the Early Years team and wider school staff
* Building positive relationships with parents and carers
* Participating in the wider life of the school
Applicants must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Previous experience teaching in Reception or Early Years is desirable but not essential.
