As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils with a range of additional needs, including:
* Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)
* Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
* Communication and interaction needs
* Physical and medical needs
* Social, emotional, and sensory needs
Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing tailored 1:1 and small-group support
* Assisting with sensory-based and personalised learning activities
* Supporting communication using visual aids, symbols, or assistive tools
* Encouraging independence, engagement, and emotional wellbeing
* Supporting personal care and mobility where required (training provided)
* Working closely with teachers, therapists, and specialist staff
