A lovely and welcoming primary school in Camden is seeking a Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a KS2 pupil from January. This full-time temporary role is ideal for someone who is patient, consistent and committed to helping pupils thrive both academically and emotionally.
* Role: Teaching Assistant (KS2 1:1)
* Start Date: Second week of January 2026
* Location: Camden, London
* Contract: Full time – temporary (January to the end of the academic year)
* Pay: £500 – £560 per week
Responsibilities
* As the Teaching Assistant, provide consistent 1:1 support to a KS2 pupil throughout the school day
* Work closely with the class teacher to adapt learning activities and resources
* Support engagement, focus and positive behaviour using agreed strategies
* Encourage independence, confidence and inclusion within the classroom
* Monitor progress and feedback observations to teaching staff
Requirements
* Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting
* Experience supporting pupils in KS2 or a similar age range
* Able to build positive, respectful and trusting relationships with pupils
* Calm, patient and proactive approach to learning and behaviour support
* Available full time from January for the duration of the role
